Megumi Hayashibara (林原 めぐみ Hayashibara Megumi) is a very popular idol singer and voice actress (seiyū) in Japan, though she began her voice acting career while training for her original career option as a registered nurse. She was born in Tokyo on March 30, 1967. Mrs. Hayashibara is married and has one daughter. Mrs. Hayashibara is considered by many anime fans to be the "queen" of the seiyu.
