Yomiko Readman works for a secret governmental british agency as an agent called The Paper. At first she seems to be a book rat : her house if full of books and, for her, books mean more than her own life, but actually, she can use and control the paper around her to fight and create things.
After buying a rare book she was searching, Yomiko runs into an old man on a giant bug who try to steal the book from her. This is the beginning of a new mission for Yomiko, Drake and Miss Deep.
